Hi everyone, my name is Tim Dries. I’m a married father of two boys that I love to bits living in Houston, Texas (Go Texans!). As you can tell I’m an American Football fan and support the Houston Texans, but like to watch most sports if they’re on TV. I try and play golf and soccer when I can but I can’t say I’ll ever make it pro...i’m really not very good as much as I hate to say it! I’m a keen cook and like to do chilli, chinese and spicy dishes as my family seem to enjoy them.

I’ve worked in a heating and air conditioning store for around 8 years now as a full-time job, but in my spare time I also write about various home heating topics to put up on my websites. I maintain a couple of sites right now to do with the gas fireplaces and electric fireplace niche, and cover several areas.

I’m also a huge lover of music and have been to a few concerts over the years. I like most genres, but my favorites bands would have to be Oasis, The Who, The Beatles (as you can see I like my British bands), and used to listen to Nirvana in my younger years quite a lot. I’ve been to see Oasis perform 3 times, but I’m still gutted that they’ve split up!

Anyway, that’s a brief intro to me. I have many other interests but I’m sure you don’t want my whole life story! I’ll be around the forum reading, and will hopefully take part in discussion.
