BEF names Steph Cooper as their new Investment Manager for Greater Manchester

The responsible finance provider is set to impact businesses and communities in the North West.

BEF are pleased to announce the appointment of Steph Cooper as their Investment Manager for the Greater Manchester region. Steph joins BEF after eight years working for Barclays Business. In the last three years, Steph worked as a Business Relationship Manager covering Shropshire and Staffordshire.

In her new role as Investment Manager, Steph will lead BEF’s presence in Greater Manchester, working closely with partners to ensure the region’s underserved businesses receive the flexible finance they need.

“Steph joins us at an exciting time. Her appointment builds on our ongoing success in supporting businesses in the Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East regions where we’ve helped companies to start, grow and impact the communities they serve,” said Simon Jackson, BEF’s Head of Investment. “Our available capital enables us to deliver secured and unsecured loans to new and existing businesses across all sectors.”

Steph said: “I am very much looking forward to supporting local businesses, enabling regional growth in the Manchester area and creating impact in the local community.”
