Start Up Loans hits £1bn milestone of loans to UK small businesses
The loans have help start and grow 105,109 businesses across the UK.
Over the last three years, SME businesses - the lifeblood of the UK economy - have endured the toughest of times due to the chaos and uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Access to flexible finance via the government-backed CBILS, CLBILS, BBLS and RLS schemes helped support their survival.
