BEF has completed its first business loan under the UK Government-backed Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS).

The social impact lender delivered a £85,000 investment to support the growth of Wetherby-based Acquila Facilities.

BEF has completed its first business loan under the UK Government-backed Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS).

Specialist social impact lender, BEF delivered their first RLS-backed facility to Wetherby-based Acquila Facilities, a UK leading industrial cleaning specialist and supplier of Builders Cleans and Sparkle Cleans. The £85,000 investment will support Acquila Facilities’ ambitious growth plans.

The business is set up to carry out industrial cleaning throughout the UK, taking on cleaning projects from small shops to supermarkets and hospitals to football stadiums and airports.

Stephen Waud, Chief Executive, BEF, added: "Last year was a challenging year in which we played a small, yet important role in supporting businesses across the UK with access to CBILS-backed loans."
